Description

Carlos is the sideboard that Renato Zamberlan, Horm’s art director, designed in 2014 as a tribute to Carlos Cruz-Diez and his kinetic research into color. The vertically milled fronts change their reflections depending on the light and viewing angle: the piece looks different every time you cross the room.

Honeycomb MDF doors with internal metal reinforcements, veneered in thermally treated oak and milled to accommodate white laminate inserts. Beech-veneered board structure (stained mocha, bleached, or bois blond) or lacquered; interior clear tempered-glass shelves, which can be replaced with wooden shelves. 2 cm thermoplastic feet; optional Jazz, Mid-Century, or Minimal Design metal bases.

  • Dimensions: depth 49 cm; height 66 or 98 cm, depending on the version: ask us about the dimensions of this unit
  • Materials: thermally treated oak, white laminate, veneered or lacquered beech, tempered glass

Design: Renato Zamberlan, 2014
