Description
Description
Gerrit Rietveld conceived the Crate collection in 1934 as a way to reuse surplus wooden shipping crates. HAY reissues it with Rietveld Originals, keeping the original proportions and the exposed construction that makes assembly simple.
The bench is solid pine with a water-based finish, a sloping seat and back, and armrests. Optional cushions are available, and it is suited to outdoor use.
