Description

The Tereo vase is made of glazed stoneware, with hand-shaped openings whose edges evoke the texture of torn paper. It draws on the principles of ikebana: designed to hold individual stems in deliberate arrangements, it also stands on its own when empty. In the Off-White Speckle finish, the speckled glaze over a natural clay base gives it a serene, ceramic look. It works well on a dining table, console, or shelf, with a dried branch or a couple of fresh stems. It measures 13.5 cm wide, 27 cm high, and 13 cm deep, and weighs 1 kg. As it is hand-shaped, each piece has slight variations in the openings. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
